“When the Heavens Open” 30 x 22

Being in red rock country when the weather is nice is a wonderful experience. But being there when the monsoon rains come is beyond spectacular. Waterfalls spill off towering cliffs in all directions, and the dry washes swell dangerously. It is a time for putting the paintbrush away and grabbing your camera because the waterfalls do not last long. But always it is a time for caution, and moving to higher ground.
