About this Item
I was commissioned to do this painting of Bryce Canyon by Gayle Pollock CEO of the Bryce Canyon Association. The painting was unveiled during the Centennial Ceremony June 8, 2023 on the rim of the park. I have painted Bryce many times both plein air and in the studio from my reference photos. This image resulted from a trip to Bryce during the winter of 2022-2023. It was presented by board chairman Wally Lee to the National Park Service during the ceremonies.
