About this Item
In the early morning the sunlight explodes in bright orange on the giant Sentinel cliff pushing the night shadows down the cliff face. The result is a spectacular image. This was my centennial painting for the Zion National Park Centennial art event. This painting was on exhibit at Gallery 35 one man show in 2020. It also was featured in April 2020 American Artist Weekly “Mountain Majesty”, and makes a cameo appearance in the new Zion National Park film “We, The Keepers” which is shown at the Zion Human History Museum to park visitors. Also received the 34th annual Sears Invitational Second Place Award.
