Description
I was invited to do a demonstration painting and talk to guests at a LaFave Gallery open house. The group was part of a retreat in Zion National Park by donors to the Utah Museum of Natural History in Salt Lake City. They were enthusiastic as I began the painting and asked many good questions as I demonstrated my usual approach to a landscape painting. I chose the Watchman in Zion as a subject and felt good about the live demonstration and the finished piece. This painting was purchased by Robin and Ginny Davis.
