From Sketchbook to Painting – Blarney Castle
Whenever I travel I carry a hardbound sketchbook which I use to record my experiences. My ten-minute drawings don’t always end up as paintings but many times they do. These are some sketches done on location in Ireland of the Blarney Castle. I combined these with photo reference to complete these paintings in my studio after returning home.
